Christmas Spirit!

Hello Lovely Ladies,

I don’t know about you but I sure am feeling the Christmas spirit.  The kids are officially done school for the Holidays, my shopping is all done, and my back’s a-achin’ from baking five dozen cookies for the cookie exchange this evening :D

I normally don’t do a lot of festive manicures on the blog, but when my Amiga Carolina from Colores de Carol sent me a parcel with all of her Holiday shades, I knew I had to bring on the tinsel and bells ;)

Today, I would like to show you three of her shades (and on Monday I will feature the other three)… who knows, maybe you will find a fun holiday inspired look in one of them :D

Golden Kisses

Arbolito

Snow Globe

(ps… coupon code: CHITCHAT will save you 10% at checkout)

Colores de Carol describes Golden Kisses as:

Shimmery gold with a subtle scattered holo

I don’t know what it is with gold shades lately, but I am finding a lot of winners!  This is definitely a WINNING shade in my books.  This is a warm gold that shines from within and has the most ethereal sprinkling of holographic glitter.  This polish is an absolute stunner IRL and almost has this beige/rose-gold tint to it- ultra pretty!  Spectacular creation from my Amiga!

(three coats)

I paired Golden Kisses with Bundle Monster stamp BM-H03.  I added two bornprettystore.com rhinestones for effect.

I can’t get enough of how pretty and shimmery Golden Kisses is!

Colores de Carol describes Arbolito as:

Arbolito is a scattered holo crelly green

I’m not much of a green polish gal, but I did enjoy this shade for two reasons.  First, I like the scattered holographic bits within, and secondly, there are some blue/teal undertones in Arbolito that set it appart from an average “green”.  I think this is a trendy shade that could most definitely be worn year round.

To give it a festive feeling, I stamped with Pueen-42 and a new bottle of Konad White (new bottle= faint stamping areas- sorry about that)

Colores de Carol describes Snow Globe as:

White shimmery base with micro blue holo glitter

(one coat layered)

Snow Globe took me by surprise and I fell in love with it upon application.  This polish is a little different on the nail than the bottle lets on.  The base is a sheer blue-sheen with metallic blue glitter bits suspended within it.  This shade is PERFECT for layering over ANY shade as it will only slightly affect the base color, but it will add gorgeous flecks of blue.  Here it is layered over Jessica Courage (a milky nude).  It would be stunning over a pastel blue, or even pinks, purples, whites etc.  The blue sheen is quite flattering too and far more prominent IRL.  What a versatile little lacquer- definitely a favourite of mine.

These are hand mixed lacquers created by my dearest friend, and very talented fellow blogger, Carolina from ColoresdeCarol.com.  I have the utmost respect for Carolina, who is a creative and talented blogger and who is now expanding her talent into making polish.

My friend was also super sweet to include a coupon code for me to share with YOU!  Use coupon code: CHITCHAT at checkout for 10% off ;)

What do YOU think of these manicures?  Which one strikes your fancy the most?

For the holidays, will you be wearing a festive manicure or keeping it simple?

THANK YOU FOR READING!
